In this role, you will be called upon to trouble shoot engineering HVAC system failures or potential problems by analyzing sensor data and providing feedback to Program/Project Managers, Engineers, and Facility Management. This will include but not be limited to the implementation and operation of software, designs, graphical development, as well as, ensuring the control system operational requirements are implemented, monitored, analyzed and documented. The core responsibility of this position is to work with other team members to enhance, maintain and ensure the stability of the site-wide control system.
#Alerton visual logic programming software
These data points are then used by software algorithms that are programmed with specific building operating parameters to control and operate HVAC, laboratory equipment, energy monitoring devices, lighting, and many other mechanical and electrical systems with a minimal amount of operator intervention. These systems are engineering systems comprised of differing hardware and software to collect data both discrete and analog from various plant components and HVAC systems. Develop strategies to improve and enhance these control systems across the INL and DOE. Responsible for the programming and development of Alerton Visual Logic algorithms, Carrier Best++, and/or Snap controllers. In this role you will provide subject matter expertise in the application and programming for the operation, maintenance, configuration management, and modification of the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) direct digital control system known as the Site-wide Environmental & Energy Control Systems (SEECS). The position requires specific knowledge of control system programming languages such as Alterton VisualLogic, Carrier Best++, or Snap controllers. Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Sitewide Energy & Environmental Control Systems (SEECs) Programmer.
